East Fishkill Provisions Smoke Haus & Deli - East Fishkill NY

We were on our way out in search of a fresh turkey for thanksgiving but were also in search of a good egg sandwich for breakfast. When our original
choice was shockingly closed on a Sunday morning we were left wondering where we could find a quality egg sandwich.
Our trip took us down Rt. 82 and we came to East Fishkill Provisions Smoke Haus & Deli. We had been here before but kind of forgot about it. The
reason for our visit is not the reason I’m now writing about it. Not only did we pick up the sandwiches but we also got some great cold cuts. East
Fishkill Provisions Smoke Haus & Deli makes all of their cold cuts on the premises. Everything from smoked ham and turkey to more exciting options
like Landjäger which is a Bavarian semi-dry sausage. Their selection includes hot dogs, bacon, kielbasa and pepperoni. I’m a huge fan of Boars Head
cold cuts but with a deli like this around I really have to think twice about where I buy my cold cuts. Having a place that makes their cold cuts right
in the store is really rare. In addition to the deli they also have a smokehouse serving ribs, brisket and shredded pork. I have not tried any of the
smokehouse times yet but they are on my list. On this visit we just got some cold cuts. Both the smoked ham and pork made excellent sandwiches later
that day.
They also have locations in Fishkill Poughkeepsie, Beacon and Newburgh. In my opinion East Fishkill Provisions Smoke Haus & Deli is just another
example of the quality locally made food the Hudson Valley has to offer. Personally I am going to start trying their meats and cold cuts more often.
